Chalcogenides.com is an independent public informational resource on chalcogenides aimed at members of the scientific research community, but with scope for additional public understanding of science applications.
It was originally setup in 2004 by myself, Christopher Dean a then PhD student at the University of Southampton Optoelectronics Research Centre who has since moved on into other fields.
As I am still interested in chalcogenide science and also the public understanding of science, I have kept and main this website as much as time allows.
Unfortunately my free time is sparse and as such I would be more than grateful to anyone else out there involved with the subject, who would like to contribute content for the site. I have no problem adding material I just don't have the time to source it on a regular enough basis.
I am willing to create content areas for any relevant information, conferences, shows, paper releases, etc. I would like this to become a widely used community resource so please feel free to email me on the address below with any suggestions you might have.
